Internal Quality Assurance Cell
In order to ensure quality within the existing system in the college, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is established as per the NAAC guidelines on 15–12–2004. It takes care of the overall developmental activities of the teachers, non–teaching staff, students and infrastructural facilities in the college. The IQAC plays an important role in maintaining the college campus healthy in all the spheres. It will develop various quality parameters of the institution and inform the same to the concerned stakeholders. It helps in organizing seminars, workshops and group discussions. Its duty is to prepare IQAR annually and submit it to NAAC.

Dramas are like true interpreters of our indications, but there is art required to sort and understand them said Michel De Montaigne and it is fact that the Karnatak Arts College the mother of the Karnatak University and also its constituent college is the result of the dream of its founders Dewan Rao Bahadur Rodda Srinivasa Rao and Dewan Bahadur Artal Rudragouda. These two men dared to dream that North Karnataka, then a part of the Bombay Presidency, needed an educational institution for the students of this region they had to go either to Bombay or to Pune to pursue higher studies.
